Today's Instrumental Metal Track comes from Cacophony. This short-lived dynamic duo of Marty Friedman and Jason Becker only released two albums in the 80's. Afterwards, the two released solo work and went on to join other bands. This is the title track off of their 1987 album Speed Metal Symphony. Cacophony is defined as "a harsh, discordant mixture of sounds". I'd say their mixture of sounds come together quite nicely.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
