Today's Metal Track is Asleep in the Deep by Mastodon. This is off of their 2014 album Once More 'Round the Sun. I didn't realize this before but this song features Valient Himself on backing vocals and Ikey Owens on synthesizer.

I didn't bother to check but I'm just going to assume Michael Thompson directed this video. I love the face on the psychedelic kitty.
