Now I'm naked
Nothing but an ani-mal
But can you fake it
For just one more show
Today's Metal Track is Bullet with Butterfly Wings by The Smashing Pumpkins. This was the lead single off of their 1995 double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. It won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. The song was chosen as the lead single based off the record company's survey of 30 to 40 year K-Mart shoppers. Jimmy Chamberlin called it their "Blue light special".
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
