Today's Metal Track is Holy Mountains by System of Down. It is about the Armenian Genocide in 1915 and Turkey's continued defiance in recognizing it as a genocide. In case you didn't know, the band members are all of Armenian decent.
This is off of their 2005 album Hypnotize which is currently their last album. I hope that changes soon. They are supposedly working on a new album but the current status is unknown.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
