Today's Instrumental Track is a collaboration between three great artist, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age). Using only a bass guitar, keyboard, and drums the trio perform instrumental version of Mantra which was recorded for the 2013 Documentary Sound City directed by Dave Grohl.
Sound City was the studio where Nirvana recorded their 1991 landmark album Nevermind. When it closed in 2011, Grohl purchased many items from the studio including the Neve 8028 analog mixing console.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
