Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is brought to you by Pearl Jam. This is off of their debut album Ten which is still their best album in my opinion.
This song was originally an instrumental demo titled "E Ballad" written by guitarist Stone Gossard. It was included on a demo tape called Stone Gossard Demos '91 that was circulated in an attempt to find a lead singer for the band. The demo landed in the hands of a San Diego gas station attendant, Eddie Vedder, who recorded lyrics for three of the songs which later became "Alive", "Once", and "Footsteps". The band invited him to Seattle and he wrote lyrics for "Black" on the way.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
