Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is Lucille by Kenny Rogers. This is off of his self titled 1977 album and was his first solo hit. The song is about a man who meets a woman at a bar who had just left her husband. The husband then shows up with the famous line "You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille, with four hungry children and a crop in the field."
Kenny got the idea for the song from the talk show Dinah! The famous line from the song was taken directly from one of the callers. I've heard the line played at piano bars but with added words that I will not post here :).
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
