This Weekend's Wildcard is The Look by Roxette. This classic 80s track is the opening track off of the Swedish band's 1988 album Look Sharp! The first two verses were guide lyrics meaning they just wrote down some words to have something to sing with the idea that they would come back and write new lines. They never were able to come up with anything better so they stuck with them.
Walking like a man,
hitting like a hammer,
she's a juvenile scam.
Never was a quitter,
tasty like a raindrop,
she's got the look.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
