Weekend Wildcard - Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum

This Weekend's Wildcard is Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum. It is the title track of his 1969 album Spirit in the Sky. I'm sure everyone has heard this song before; most likely in a movie. It was most recently included on the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. Although it was not used in the movie, it was used in one of the trailers for the movie.
