Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is Redemption Song by Bob Marley. This is the final track on his 1980 album Uprising. Marley died the following year. This song consists only of Marley, his guitar, and his voice. The lyrics borrow lines from a speech given by Marcus Garvey in Nova Scotia in 1937.
"Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds"
And lol at the first YouTube comment: "388 Jamaicans read dislike as dis i like......."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
