This Weekend's Wildcard is West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys. This was originally released as a single in 1984 but was re-recorded with a new producer and label for their 1985 debut album Please. The song was inspired by T.S. Eliot's poem The Waste Land.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
