Today's Metal Track is brought to you by Between the Buried and Me. As I have mentioned before, these guys were formed in Raleigh and their drummer, Blake, went to NC State (Go Pack!). This song is off of their third studio album Alaska which was released in 2005.
This song became a fan favorite mostly due to instrumental section at the end and the sweeps used in the guitar solo at the 6:28 mark.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
