Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Wild Thing by Sam Kinison

Today's Metal Track is Wild Thing as performed by 80's comedian Sam Kinison. If you've never heard of Sam before, this video sums him up pretty well. He was known for his intense delivery, politically incorrect humor, and his trademark scream. Surprisingly, he used to be a pentecostal preacher. I guess they have a similar intense delivery though.

This awesomely bad song and video is loaded with cameos. Band members from GNR, Aerosmith, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Poison, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Billy Idol. It also includes model Jessica Hahn who is best known for the sex scandal involving televangelist Jim Bakker (I didn't even know about that). And don't for get Rodney Dangerfield.

Sadly, Sam Kinison died in 1992 when a 17 year old drunk driver hit him head on when he was headed to a sold-out show in Texas with his wife. They had only been married six days. RIP
