In honor of the 4th, this Weekend's Wildcard is Saturday in the Park by Chicago. This is off of their 1972 album Chicago V. Robert Lamm was inspired to write this song when he was in Central Park on the 4th of July in 1971 which turns out was actually on a Sunday. Three syllables sounds better though.
This song is played on Saturday games at Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, and Coors Field.
Happy 4th Everyone!!!
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
