Ever wonder what happened to the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz after the Wicked Witch of the West melted (Spoiler Alert!)? Evidently they fell on hard times and had to get small time jobs. The good news is in their free time they like to get together and rock out!
Today's Metal Track is Heretics and Killers by Protest the Hero. This is off of their 2005 debut album Kezia. While it came out in 2005 in their home country of Canada, it was not released in the U.S. until the following year. Those costumes are pretty impressive.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
