Today's Instrumental Track is Flying in a Blue Dream by Joe Satriani. It is the title and opening track off of his 1989 album by the same name. This video was taken from his 2006 DVD Satriani Live! which was filmed in Anaheim, CA.

The part at about the 1:30 mark is where the original recording of the song begins. The spoken words in the background were not planned. Joe's amplifier was picking up some frequency from a TV or radio station when they were recording and they decided to include it. He still includes them in his live performances as you see here.
