It has to start somewhere
It has to start sometime
What better place than here?
What better time than now?
Today's Metal Track is Guerilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine off of their 1999 album The Battle of Los Angeles. This song speaks of the exploitation of garment workers at the hands of companies like Gap. The workers shown at the beginning of the video are actual Unite! union workers playing themselves. The video even spoofs the popular Gap commercials with the band playing against an all white background.
Lights Out
Guerilla Radio
Turn that $#!+ Up!
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
