Today's Metal Track is Incurably Innocent by At the Drive In. This is off of their upcoming album in•ter a•li•a. Cedric stated that this is "a song about sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out." This is every bit as good as the first single they released for the album. Jamie Nickerson got lucky and saw these guys live in a small club last night.
"blank tape
that couldn't remember
but you can never erase the hurt
out in the dial toned distance
someone heard"
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
