Today's Metal Track is Home Invasion/Regret #9 by Steven Wilson. This is off of his latest album Hand. Cannot. Erase. which was released earlier this year. I think this song is absolutely fantastic. The final 5 minutes (Regret #9) are just amazing. The keyboards (synthesizer?) and the guitar solo by Govan just ooze with emotion. Some of the best music I've ever heard in my life. TURN IT UP LOUD!
Here is Guthrie Govan recording the solo. So good.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
