This Weekend's Wildcard is Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple. This is the title track off of their 1984 album by the same name. This song is about reincarnation. It's a conversation between oneself
from their past life and their present self. The song tells about
memories this person has from their past life, but they (past and
present self) "must remain perfect strangers" to each other. This song has been covered by the likes of Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Dimmu Borgir.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
