Today's Metal Track is Breadfan by Budgie. This is opening track off of the band's 1973 album Never Turn Your Back on a Friend. The song is referring to a love of money with bread being a slang term for money.
The song was covered by Metallica in 1988 and released as a B-side on their Harvester of Sorrow single. In was also later included on their 1998 album Garage Inc.

Here is the Metallica version. As awesome as the original is, Metallica version is superior IMO.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
