This Weekend's Wildcard is Take On Me by the Norwegian synthnpop group a-ha. It comes from the band's 1985 debut album Hunting High and Low. This was the band's 3rd recorded version of this song with the first two not becoming very popular.

This is one of the very best pop songs and videos of all time. The video took home 6 awards and was nominated for 2 others at the 1986 MTV Music Awards.
