Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Muramasa by Periphery

Any Final Fantasy fans out there? I've never played them but know that the names of these songs were inspired by the names of two swords and an aircraft used in the FF games which were inspired by real Japanese sword designers and Norse mythology.

Today's Metal Track is part one of a trilogy (Muramasa, Ragnarok, Masamune) by Periphery. This is the opening track off of their 2012 album Periphery II: This Time It's Personal. Muramasa was a famous swordsmith who lived sometime between the 14th and 16th century in Japan.

Their new album, Periphery III: Select Difficulty, is set to release July 22.
