Today's Speed Rap-Metal Track is Spit It Out by Slipknot. This is off of their 1999 self-titled debut album. Unless you've been living under a rock you will recognize the music videos homage to one of the greatest horror movies of all time, The Shining. The band members reenact various scenes from the 1980 film.
Originally the video was banned from MTV because of the violence. An edited version was made to air on TV. It's funny because I was watching the actual The Shining movie on TV during the middle of the day this past Mother's Day. The video below is the unedited version.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
