Today's Instrumental Metal Track is a previously unreleased track by the legendary Jason Becker. It was recorded in 1990 but was just released yesterday. He wrote about it so I will just let him speak for it.
"I have decided to put some of my unreleased demos on YouTube. This was
my first attempt at slide guitar. ALS had really gotten into my hands
and arms, so they kept falling off the guitar. It was meant to be a
vocal tune. David Lee Roth was touring at the time without me, which was
totally fine with me. People felt sad for me, but I was happy because I
could still do music."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
