So Andrew and I have this ritual, when I wake him up in the morning to go to daycare and he hasn't pooped I start singing "No Poop till... dun dun... dun... dun Daycare! OK maybe it's just my ritual.
This Weekend's Wildcard is No Sleep till Brooklyn by the Beastie Boys. It's off of their 1987 debut album License to Ill. Kerry King from Slayer plays guitar on this track and is featured in the video although you may not recognize him with hair. Rick Rubin was the producer for both Slayer and the Beastie Boys.
The Beastie Boys changed some of the lyrics in the song later in their career because they were misogynistic.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
