By request from Liz, this Weekend's Wildcard is Gimme Shelter by the Rolling Stones. After she requested this, I realized that I have not posted any Stones tracks yet so it's about time we fixed that. She happened to pick one of my favorite Stones tracks so it worked out great.
This is the opening track off of their 1969 album Let it Bleed. Merry Clayton provides powerful vocals on this track. I know this song deserves more recognition but I'm about to head out for the night. Enjoy.
