This Weekend's Wildcard is You Dropped a Bomb on Me by The Gap Band. This funky track is off of their 1982 album The Gap Band IV. The band centered around the three Wilson brothers Charlie, Ronnie, and Robert.
After the attacks on 9/11, this song was placed on Clear Channel's list of songs with questionable lyrics. They didn't ban the songs but noted that stations may not want to play them.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
