It's time for the Track of the Day again! I talked Scott
into letting me do this last one, since it's Monday... or as most
people call it - Instrumental Monday! I don't get it, but I'll go with
it!
From the jump, I knew it was INSTRUMENTAL that I do a Beastie Boys
song, HAHAHAHHA GET IT!!!!1 Because they'got some great instrumentals
and remixes of instrumentals and instrumentals of remixes. At first, I
was gonna use an instrumental of the "Free Zone" mix of "Root Down" off
the "Root Down" EP....
But, upon further inspection, the
version I had seemed to be unauthorized, and the person messed up while
looping it. Instead, I present to you "In 3's" from the 1992 album
"Check Your Head." This is also on "The In Sound From Way Out," but
they cut out the beginning, so I used the original.
FUN FACT:
If you do fun facts every day, you start to slip up and use inferior
facts ... and it kills your brand. See you guys next time!
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
