Scott's Metal Track of the Day - The Outlaw Torn by Metallica

Today's Metal Track is The Outlaw Torn by Metallica. This is the closing track off of their 1996 album Load when the band cut their hair and everyone lost their minds. It was a drastic change for the band and has been a dividing line for old and new Metallica fans to this day (For some it's the Black Album). For me, nothing beats the first four albums but I still enjoy the later stuff.

Mama bought me this CD for my 6th grade graduation present \m/. This is one of those songs that was really underrated and probably didn't receive much airplay due to its length and slow beginning. I think the solo (6:25) on here is fantastic.
