Easy Like Sunday Morning Track - Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce

Inspired by the new Apple commercial featuring the Cookie Monster, today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce. This is off of his 1972 album You Don't Mess Around with Jim. He wrote this song after his wife told him she was pregnant with their son Adrian.

Sadly, Jim died in a plane crash the following year which made the lyrics of the song even more meaningful. He was only 30 years old. It was then released as a single and became a #1 hit. That is why you see this video list it as 1973 vs. 1972.
