Probably a little liberal with the Metal tag again here but this song is fantastic no matter what label you place on it. Even ex-Megadeth drummer, Nick Menza, loves it as shown in the top comment for the video.
Today's Metal Track is Harmony Korine by Steven Wilson. This is the opening track and lead single off of his debut 2008 album Insurgentes. The surreal imagery and style used in the video is a nod to some old classic European films that I know nothing about. It looks awesome though.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
