IF
I
WOULD
COULD
YOU?
Today's Grunge Metal Track is Would? by Alice in Chains. This is off of their classic 1992 album Dirt. This song was about the late singer of Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood. Such a badass chill song. That bass line!
Straight from horses mouth (Jerry Cantrell): "I was thinking a lot about Andrew Wood at the time. We always had a great time when we did hang out, much like Chris Cornell
and I do. There was never really a serious moment or conversation, it
was all fun. Andy was a hilarious guy, full of life and it was really
sad to lose him. But I always hate people who judge the decisions others
make. So it was also directed towards people who pass judgments."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
