Just got done watching a series of Killswitch music videos with the boys in my lap. They ate it up and so did I.
Today's Metal Track is My Curse off of their 2006 album As Daylight Dies. This song is about a man mourning over his dead lover. The man's "curse" is that he is trapped in a life where he is unable to be with the woman he loves.
This is one of their most popular songs. The video version uses cleaner vocals than the original version to make it more accessible. Both versions are good, just depends on your taste.
I prefer the original especially for the screams in the outro. Check out both
"There is love (THERE IS LOVE!!!)"
Here is the original
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
