This Weekend's Wildcard is 1st of tha Month by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. This is off of their 1995 album E. 1999 Eternal and is still one of their biggest hits.

The song contains a sample from the Chapter 8 and Anita Baker song "I Just Want to Be Your Girl" and an interpolation of the "wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, get up, get up, get up, get up" chant from Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing".

I've been meaning to post this one for awhile but I kept missing the Saturdays that fell on the 1st. I finally set a calendar reminder, lol.
