Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Ember City by Mastodon

Today's Metal Track is Ember City and is brought to you by Mastodon. This is off of their newest album Once More 'Round The Sun which was just released a couple of months ago.

This is a great song that is a little more polished than a lot of Mastodon's previous tracks but still packs a punch with tons of great guitar work and vocals. One reason is sounds a little more polished is because it features Brann Dailor (drummer) on vocals for the chorus who has cleaner vocals than Troy and Brent. Brann is starting to be used more for vocals in their recent albums which definitely adds another dynamic to their songs.
