This Weekend's Wildcard is Jump Around by House of Pain. This insanely popular song has been used everywhere from movies to sporting events. It was released in 1992 on the group's debut self-titled album.
The song features numerous samples including the Harlem Shuffle by Bob & Earl and Popeye the Hitchhiker by Chubby Checker. But the most recognizable sample is the high pitched saxophone sample taken from Junior Walker & the All Stars' Shoot your Shot song from 1967.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
