This Weekend's Wildcard is How Soon is Now and is brought to you by the English rock band The Smiths. This song was not originally a big hit and was only released as a B-side on their 1984 single William, It Was Really Nothing. It was later released as its own single and included on the US release of their 1985 album Meat is Murder.
A cover version by Love Spit Love was used in the 1996 movie The Craft and was also later used as the theme song to the show Charmed.
I am the son, and the heir, of a shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir, of nothing in particular
You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
