Today's Metal Track is Chlorine and Wine by Baroness. This is off of their upcoming album Purple which will be released on December 18. These guys continue to evolve and mature their sound with every album. This is a beautiful song that builds throughout. John's vocals are great and I really enjoy the part towards the end where they are all singing together.
Please
Don't lay me down
Under the rocks where I found
My place in the ground
A home for the fathers and sons
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
