Opeth is not due up in the rotation but I couldn't resist posting this track as I feel it is appropriate for all of this rain we are getting.
Today's Metal Track is Eternal Rains Will Come by Opeth. This is the opening track off of their 2014 album Pale Communion. This song displays the beautiful prog-rock side of Opeth that they perfected on this album. A side that has polarized Opeth fans in recent years. While I like their older death metal style the best, I think this album is amazing.
That intro and the part at 5:20 are top notch!
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
