Today's Instrumental Metal Track is The Warmth of the Daytime Seemed Like a Dream Now by Cloudkicker. This is the opening track off of his 2013 album Subsume. The first 3 minutes are mostly silent so you can skip forward if you want. It's only about two minutes of music but what a great two minutes it is.

I think he just arbitrarily picked points in the recordings to break up the tracks because it seems like this song takes up the last part of track one and the first part of track two which is even better.
