Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Closer by Nine Inch Nails

Okay so this may not be metal but I think it fits. I've always been amazed at how dark/heavy this song seems with very little use of guitars.

Today's Metal Track is Closer by Nine Inch Nails. This iconic track is off of his 1994 album The Downward Spiral. This song and especially this video bolstered NIN into success. The video that aired on MTV in heavy rotation displayed title cards with "Scene Missing" written on them during the deleted scenes. This is obviously the unedited version.

In 2006, "Closer" was voted number one in a VH1 Classic poll titled "20 Greatest Music Videos of All Time.
