Welp, I'm getting drug to another country concert tonight. Just kidding, they are fun and Garth is one I like. I will be rocking a metal shirt again though :)
This Weekend's Wildcard is Friends In Low Places by Chris Gaines, I mean, Garth Brooks. It's one of the most popular sing-a-long songs in country history. This is of his 1990 album No Fences. It was written by Dewayne Blackwell and Earl Bud Lee. The two gave it to Garth to record as a demo just before he released is debut self titled in 1989.
One funny thing I found while looking up this video on YouTube is the amount of videos posted that are covers but are not listed as covers. Somehow they have more views than the real Garth and it ticks everyone off, lol.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
