Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Davidian by Machine Head

Today's Metal Track is Davidian by Machine Head. This is the opening track off of their 1994 album Burn My Eyes. The title is a reference to the Branch Davidians and the famous Waco Siege of 1993.

The Branch Davidians were a religious sect led by David Koresh. Federal and State law enforcement agencies conducted a siege of their compound beginning February 28, 1993 which resulted in a 51 day standoff. In the end, the compound caught fire and around 80 people were killed. The final raid and fire was shown on live TV.
