Today's Metal Track is Mudshovel by Staind. This is off of their 1999 album Dysfunction. I thought this was their debut album until Jimmy gave me their 1996 self-released debut album Tormented as a gift last week. I was also surprised when I was listening through that CD and came across an earlier version of this song with the title Mudshuvel.
This has always been my favorite Staind track. After the became famous they really went soft which helped them sell millions of records to the mainstream audiences.
Here is the earlier version I was referring to
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
