This Weekend's Wildcard is Don't Bring Me Down by Electric Light Orchestra. This is off of ELO's 1979 album Discovery and is their highest charting hit in the US to date.
A common misheard lyric in the song is "Don't bring me down, Bruce". I thought that is what it was too until I just read the Wiki page, lol. Apparently it was a made up lyric "Grrooss". It's funny because that's the most recognizable part of the song. It became so popular that the singer began singing Bruce at shows for fun.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
