Let's round out the weekend with one more track in honor of Scott Weiland. You probably expected me to pick one of the many STP songs but I'm going a different direction this time.
Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is Loving the Alien by Velvet Revolver. This is the closing track off of their 2004 debut album Contraband. They were the super group comprised of Guns 'N Roses band members with Scott Weiland on lead vocals.
Many you have probably never heard this underrated song. Scott's vocals on this track are wonderful.
Sometimes is all the time
And never means maybe
Sometimes is all the time
Maybe
And I'm moving on
RIP Scott
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
