Today's Metal Track is Seven Days by Corrosion of Conformity. The
boys are back home tonight for a concert that marks the first time since
2001 that the Deliverance era line up (Woody, Mike, Reed, and Pepper)
has played Raleigh.
Besides being a classic COC track this one
has seen them joined on stage by James Hetfield when they opened for
Metallica during the '97 Tour. I was in attendance for the Greensboro
show and it was the first time I saw both bands live!
Thanks to Scott and Stone for letting me pick the track today.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
