Today's Instrumental Metal Track is Amagi Goe by Marty Friedman. This is off of his 2009 album Tokyo Jukebox which is a collection of Japanese cover songs. This one is a cover of a Japanese pop song released in 1986 by the singer Sayuri Ishikawa. Marty has lived in Japan since 2003 and has become really ingrained in Japanese culture.
Here is the original:
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
