This Weekend's Wildcard is Mutha (Don't Wanna Go to School Today) by Extreme. This is off of their 1989 debut self-titled album. I heard this on the radio today and learned something new. Before Extreme, some of the band members were in a band called the The Dream. So the name Extreme is a derivation of the old name meaning Ex-Dream.
The good news is no one should have to go to school today!
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
